Less-than-lethal force

Austin James Boyles allegedly shoplifted a can of dust cleaner at Walmart and was huffing the contents in the store's bathroom when noticed by a WalMart employee. Boyles locked himself in the bathroom, two WalMart security guards used a key to gain entry. According to police, Boyles actively resisted being handcuffed and was tasered before being taken into custody. While in the ER to be checked for huffing the dust cleaner, Boyles suffered a medical emergency and died.
