A deputy tried to pull over a motorcyclist and his passenger near the intersection of 85th Street and Golden Given Road East. The motorcycle fled, and seconds later, David Thomas Schmith, 47, and Monte Lee Tipton Jr., 48, crashed into a other just before 3 p.m., killing both.
