Glendale police including a police dog and human partner were working with a U.S. Marshals task force to apprehend a fugitive. Around 5:30 p.m., police said Skyler Martin ran from officers and jumped a wall, where he was confronted by the dog and officer. Martin fired, killing the dog, officials said.The officer fired back, killing Martin.
