Police recognized a pickup being driven by Samuel I. Delozier in association with an an alleged aggravated assault and attempted to pull him over. Delozier fled in the pickup and led police on a chase that exceeded 100 mph and featured driving the wrong way on one-way streets. Delozier t-boned a other driven by Thomas Mark Colatrella and pinned it to a concrete wall, killing Colatrella. Delozier was charged with involuntary manslaughter.
