Charles Marcotte told his neighbor to call 911 and send the police to his trailer. Police enountered Marcotte barricaded in his garage with an array of weapons, rifles and handguns. After a 45-minute standoff. Marcotte steadied a rifle on cooler and shot at the officers. The officers returned fire, killing Marcotte. Officers were cleared of any wrongdoing by coroner's inquest.
