Deadly force
Deputies responded to a call in reference to a suicidal man. They attempted to make contact with Dennis Ray Blalock on at the front door. When they were unsuccessful and began to search the outside of the home. Deputies said they saw Blalock across the street. Deputies said they saw a firearm and ordered Blalock to drop his weapon. When he failed to comply, deputies shot and killed him.
