Officers received a call at about 6:15 a.m. reporting a man with a gun. A female officer encountered DaShawn Cole who immediately physically assaulted her, causing her to accidentally discharge her weapon, hitting Cole, during the struggle. Two male officers who arrived shot and killed Cole. All three officers cleared of any wrongdoing.
