At about 1:26 a.m., troopers received a call about a man threatening harm to his 1-year-old child inside a other in the driveway of his residence. When a trooper arrived, Ronald Leach was inside the home. The trooper and he fought, and during the fight, Leach displayed a weapon. The trooper shot and killed Leach.
