Officers responded to the Orchard Manor housing complex on a domestic violence report just before 3 p.m., police said. When officers arrived, they encountered Andrew James Moore holding a knife to his pregnant wife's throat. Moore disobeyed commands to disarm and continued to hold is his wife tightly as he taunted officers to shoot him. Several officers shot and killed Moore.
