Deadly force
Matthew John Lorenzen allegedly fired at deputies during a pursuit that stretched from Rapid Valley to New Underwood. Around 12:15 p.m., Lorenzen's other was rammed off the road by police and rolled into a ditch. After the other rolled and landed upside down, Lorenzen exited the other with a weapon. Police shot and killed him.
