The FBI said an arrest warrant had been issued for Nathan Thoe because he was the subject of an ongoing investigation. Federal officers from more than one agency were attempting to arrest Thoe at the White Lake rest area, when Thoe was shot and killed. Police have withheld information as to what precipitated the killing.
