Around 10:35 p.m., an unidentified man was being pursued by officers at speeds exceeding 80 mph. He was driving a tan 1998 Toyota Corolla. He entered the eastbound lanes of SR 60 the wrong way, and after driving for three miles into oncoming traffic, he lost control of the Toyota and struck a blue 2018 Kia Nitro in the slow lane, injuring the driver of the Kia, and killing the fleeing driver.
