A trooper spotted Toriando B. Smith, 29, in a Chevrolet Cruze speeding, and pulled it over. The Chevrolet Cruze pulled over and stopped on the side of the road. But as the trooper approached on foot, the Cruze pulled away and sped off. The trooper pursued. The Cruze allegedly was traveling faster than 100 mph. Smith hit a Chevrolet Impala head-on, killing passenger Christina Parham, and injuring two others.
