At least two officers responded to a radio call about a family dispute at about 6:40 a.m., police said. Police later learned that a man had opened fire inside and outside of a home before heading to Figueroa Street and Gardena Boulevard, which is where at least one of the officers found and shot and killed David Ramos. Police withheld most details regarding the killing.
