Around 7 p.m., officers responded on a report of a domestic disturbance. Police had contacted Jose Dominguez earlier in the day after they received a report of an intoxicated suicidal person. The officers later determined that he was not suicidal and was not subject to a legal hold. Officers returned later, and shot and killed Dominguez when he allegedly pointed a rifle at them.
