Collierville Police responded at 8:10 a.m. for a call of a possibly suicidal man. Officers allegedly responded with a SWAT team, found the man in the backyard and ordered him to drop his gun. It is unclear what if any movement precipitated an officer shooting and killing Hoal. Pending lawsuit filed by family.
