Suicide
Deputies attempted to stop a other with Nicholas Curtice inside at about 11 p.m. Police said the other fled south, crossed over the flood control dike and entered the riverbed. The other continued about half a mile west and became disabled. Curtice allegedly got out of the other with a firearm. He then entered the Arkansas River and shot himself. The body was found later.
