Kevin D. Jenkins allegedly made threatening and suicidal comments. Jenkins refused to come out of the home, and when deputies entered they reportedly found him with a firearm. Police said he refused commands to put the weapon down and then pointed the firearm at the officers, and a trooper shot and killed him.
