At approximately 11:25 p.m. officers in a patrol unit were stopped at an intersection when their other was fired upon by a man who then drove off. Officers found the man as he came out of an alley and a gunfight began. The man went eastbound on Alhambra Avenue and was confronted by other police officers who shot and killed him.
