Quincy police attempted to stop a other for a traffic violation just after 9 p.m.. The driver, Marcos Avalos-Barrera, failed to stop and led officers on a chase around Quincy for more than an hour. At about 10:15 p.m., Avalos-Barrera stopped and was taken into custody. Avalos-Barrera told police he was not feeling well. He was taken to the Quincy hospital around 10:30 p.m. where he died.
