About 1 a.m. police received a call for a possible suicide. Officers found the man sitting in a parked car in the lot of a McDonalds. The man's son told officers he had a gun in his lap. Police reportedly tried to convince the man to surrender for more than four and a half hours before he shot and killed himself.
