Suicide
A deputy tried to stop a other in the Coalmont area for false registration. The other stopped briefly, but then slowly drove off. Officers deployed stop sticks in an attempt to disable the other. Prior to hitting the stop sticks, however, the driver, William Ward, stopped and shot and killed himself.
