Deadly force

Around 10 p.m. at Longhorn Steakhouse in Southaven, John Bott reportedly fired shots in the parking lot. He then went across the street to Fazoli's before heading to Applebee's in Olive Branch, again firing his pistol in the parking lot. Deputies stopped him around 11 p.m. on U.S. 78 using a PIT maneuver, and shots were exchanged, and Bott was shot and killed.
