Around 8:45 a.m., police received a call regarding a man brandishing a gun during an argument with another person at a home. In addition to being armed, Troy Sullenger was also reported to have possibly been under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Sullenger left in a pickup truck just as police arrived, and police began immediate pursuit. Around 9:52 a.m., an armored police other stopped the truck, and Sullenger armed with a handgun allegedly opened fire. Police shot and killed him.
