At 1:07 a.m., officers responded to a report of an armed man inside a condominium. After officers arrived, Stanley Hayes, high on methamphetamine and ketamine, allegedly fired multiple rounds from inside the residence from both a rifle and a pistol, hitting houses and parked cars. Hayes emerged from the condominium holding a rifle and refused police commands to drop it. Officers shot and killed him.
