A deputy attempted a traffic stop around 3:50 a.m. The driver, Clando Anitok, fled and the deputy pursued. The pursuit ended when Anitok hit a fence. Police said Anitok got out of the other and walked toward the deputy who reportedly attempted to incapacitate him with a stun gun, which failed. The man reportedly fled on foot and reached into his pocket, and the deputy shot and killed him. Anitok was unarmed.
