About 5 a.m. officers were called by a man who reported that he had been kidnapped from a home in the city and that his other had been stolen. The man was not injured. Robert James Cocio was later found in the stolen other. When confronted by police, Cocio pointed a firearm at them. Six officers shot and killed Cocio.
