Travis Mullins, a Cocke County corrections officer, was reportedly targeting a woman whom he had been dating when he hit her other in a Lowe's parking lot and left. Mullins returned to the parking lot dressed in a Cocke County Sheriff's Office uniform brandishing a gun. A Greenville PD officer disarmed Mullins, but Mullins managed to grab a second gun from his car, which he brandished at the Greenville PD. One officer shot and killed Mullins.
