About 9:15 a.m., troopers tried to stop a Mini Cooper for going 95 mph. The driver, Christopher Tyler Parker, 20, had stolen the car from his grandmother and refused to stop. He exited the interstate , and as he approached an intersection, he ran a red light and slammed into the side of a Buick driven by Angela Walker Townsend killing her.
