Just after 3 a.m., police responded to a call for service at a Planet Fitness. Several campers were illegally camping in the gym's parking lot. When officers arrived, they found a man who was wearing a holstered handgun. After the man failed to follow orders, he moved to pull his handgun from the holster, and police shot and killed him. The man was very hard of hearing and may not have understood police directions.
