Around 1:15 p.m., officers went to a home because an employer was concerned about an employee and wanted to see if he was OK. The man was found working outside with a shovel. Police then discovered the man had an outstanding felony warrant and followed him into his house. He failed to comply with their demands to drop the shovel and they shot and killed him when he raised the shovel over his head in a threatening manner.
