Deputy Jeremy LaDue was at the wheel of a 2016 Chevrolet Caprice, and Kwamane Mitchell was driving a 2013 Hyundai Genesis when the vehicles collided. The deputy was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash. Both men were killed.
