Earlier in the evening, police reportedly saw a car driving erratically and stopped it. When officers approached the car, the driver and one passenger fled. They were found in a parking lot. When officers again approached the other, one of the occupants took off running. During the foot pursuit, Officer Ethan Antonson shot and killed William Debose when Debose allegedly pointed a handgun at him.
