Nicholas Bils was suspected of assault by golf club at a San Diego park was shot and killed by a sheriff's deputy after he escaped a park ranger's other while being taken to the San Diego Central Jail. He was shot in the back as he ran away unarmed. The deputy faces charges of second-degree murder.
