Around 7:25 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a report of a woman carrying a shotgun and a bottle of wine. When deputies arrived, they ordered the woman to drop her weapon. She did not comply and fired her shotgun at deputies, and Deputies John Baba and David Dominguez shot and killed her.
