Brandon Gardner was wanted in connection with a 2018 murder. Officers encountered Gardner sitting in a other in a driveway. Gardner exited the other with a handgun and started shooting. Two officers armed with rifles fired back, killing Gardner. State attorney ruled officers acted "reasonably and appropriately."
