Around noon, officers responded to a disturbance call. Julio Jaramillo had allegedly stolen a man's phone at gunpoint. When police encountered Jaramillo, he hid between two freight trucks. Officers formed a perimeter and repeatedly told Jaramillo to drop his weapon. Jaramillo appeared from behind a warehouse, firing his handgun at police. Police shot and killed Jaramillo.
