A trooper shot and killed Julian Edward Roosevelt Lewis after the trooper tried to stop a other. The driver refused to stop. The trooper started chasing him down several county roads. The trooper knocked the car off the road into a ditch and shot and killed Lewis a few moments later. The trooper was charged with felony murder.
