Officers pulled over a car which was occupied by two men for a other code violation at 7:53 p.m. During the traffic stop, the passenger, Anthony McClain, refused to allow officers to search him. Instead, they said, he ran into the street, holding his pants waistband, and while fleeing, police shot and killed him. They claimed McClain had a gun.
