Jason Carbonell was killed and two others were injured in a collision in Dana Point between their other and a car was fleeing police. The driver of the fleeing other, a woman in her 40s, was hospitalized and was booked into jail when she was medically cleared. Police reportedly broke off the chase less than a half-mile before the fatal crash.
