Deadly force
A deputy was called to serve an order of protection against Ronald Stuart Chipman, who pointed a firearm at the deputy, and more police were called in. Chipman barricaded himself inside his residence. Chipman fired at officers from inside the residence with a rifle. Lake Havasu City police officers shot and killed Chipman.
