Nicholas Thompson, 35, was reportedly drunk and speeding on Rockaway Boulevard about 6:50 p.m. when he went passed an unmarked NYPD other, forcing the cops to swerve out of his way. He then lost control and veered off the road, crashing into a fence and trees, killing his passenger, Jolenna Favor.
