A deputy stopped Mickel Erich Lewis Sr. and had a brief conversation with them before returning to his patrol other. Lewis fled on foot from his car but returned to his other and reached inside. Lewis then allegedly charged at the deputy, and the deputy shot and killed him. A gun was found nearby.
