Around 12:45 a.m., officers began a pursuit of Shawn Baumgardner on State Highway 48 through Bryan, Atoka, and Johnston counties and chased him until Baumgardner hit another other driven by Glenn Trammell and his wife, Verna, at the intersection of SH 48 and 48A, killing Glenn.
