Deadly force

The police received a 911 call at 9:30 p.m., alerting them that shots had been fired at a condo complex. A man had barricaded himself in his apartment, threatening to burn it down. Family and friends attempted to talk the man down through the night. At 7:25 a.m., the man started a fire, broke a back window and jumped from the second floor armed with a handgun. Officers reportedly ordered him to surrender the weapon, he refused. The officers shot and killed him.
