At around 3:30 p.m., Charles Robert Arviso allegedly confronted an individual who was in his other in a parking lot. Arviso was reportedly armed with a handgun. Arviso allegedly shot the other and fled the scene. Responding officers found Arviso in the riverbed armed with a handgun. He reportedly pointed his firearm toward the officers, and one of the officers shot and killed Arviso.
