A trooper stopped a other for a traffic violation, but the driver fled. A chase followed that resulted in a three-other crash. The driver, 39-year-old Tristan Goods of Hollis, Queens, was injured. An 11-year-old passenger, Monica Goods, was killed. Goods, who was en route to a Christmas celebration in Syracuse, only drove off after a trooper blasted pepper spray into the SUV during the traffic stop for speeding, the mother, Michelle Surrency, alleged.
