Suicide
On Dec. 26, two men allegedly shot and killed Carla M. Trost-Walker in Sparta and stole her car. Officers pursued one suspect, Michael Lee Barlow, from Goochland County to Interstate 64, at Exit 124, and turning toward Shadwell. When Barlow crashed his car, he reportedly shot and killed himself.
