Suicide

Around 8 a.m. police received a 911 call about a disturbance in Plant City. A man, who was acting erratically, forced his way into a mobile home. Another person inside was able to leave, but a standoff between the man police followed. The man allegedly fired toward deputies from inside the home. Just after 10:30 a.m., deputies say they saw smoke coming from the home. Minutes later, they heard a single gunshot. Around 2:45 p.m., deputies were able to see the man was unmoving inside the home.
