Around 12:35 a.m. police pursued the car as apart of a drug investigation. Police chased the car until it crashed into a utility pole. The other burst into flames following the crash. East Cleveland officers pulled the driver, Ryan Pete Lavell Clemmons Sr., 31, from the car.The passenger, Shawn Antoine Crenshaw Jr., was killed. Clemmons was charged with aggravated vehicular homicide.
